In 1934 the Kuwait Oil Company Ltd. was established by the Anglo-Persian Oil Wellhead maintenance on BG-191, 1961.jpgCompany, now known as the British Petroleum Company, and Gulf Oil Corporation, now known as Chevron Corporation.
The Company activities had extended to include exploration operations, on-shore and off-shore surveys, drilling of test wells, and developing of producing fields in addition to crude and natural gas exploration.
Our main role is to explore, develop and produce hydrocarbons within the State of Kuwait, promote the care and development of our people and deliver on our commitments to our stakeholders in a compliant, profitable, safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Kuwait Oil Company manages the production and export of oil and gas with the associated facilities from more than twelve developed oil fields in the state of Kuwait. The oilfields spread over the State and split off into four main parts of North Field, West Field, South and East Field that are locally administered at the site headquarters. Approximate distance from Ahmadi: North Field is 70 miles, West Field is 38 miles and South East Field is 12 miles.
A developed nation is known by its respect to humanity in terms of human health,safety and the safety of the surrounding environment. Therefore, achieving development should not be at the account of human health, safety and environment. Employees’ safety and health are primary requirements for achieving development in production.
Based on this corrective concept, the company issued HSEMS for the first time 1995, taking the lead in this regard. Training courses followed the issuance of the System for refining the employees in this direction.
